My illustrative style is expressive, with scratchy lines, blocky colour and painterly textures. I focus on capturing movement, personality and tone in my illustrations; designing characters who feel alive.
In 2025 I had the privilege of designing both the paper, and hard back cover for Julia Passini's first published novel, 'Living Through The Epilogue'.
This included layout and text using Indesign, and working closely with her editor to ensure the final cover perfectly fit Passini's vision.
For the past 6 years, I've been taking paid commissions on Ko-fi, brining my clients visions to life.
For larger pieces, I like to use a lasso tool over my thumbnail sketch to quickly put down contrast and figure out the layout- then I do a more detailed sketch on top, lineart and eventually colour. When colouring more rendered work I enjoy using fluffy, textured brushes.
