After a horrific accident befalls the local bully of a small English village: Brick discovers no one in this town cares if he lives or dies. He endeavours to change, but doesn't know where to begin; finding support in the unlikely form of Robin, a trans-man he's been relentlessly bullying for years. Toiling with anger, abandonment issues, and a secret he's buried deep, Dan Brickman tries not to let the weight of the world consume him- and find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Normally I start with thumbnails in my sketchbook with the script beside me. Then I'm able to do a rough digital sketch; at the same stage I will fill in the text bubbles and action lines. I like getting the backgrounds done first as I often enjoy disturbing the panels- that way I know exactly where I need to put my characters in the scene and won't risk moving them after. Then I can draw in my characters and finally combine everything and ensure readibility.
